83 drawings of children aged eight to twelve years participated in the National Exhibition-Competition "I and Child Police" under the program of the Ministry of Interior (MI) "Children's Police Headquarters "(CPH). 15 of the drawings in the competition were priced at an official ceremony in the National Palace of Children.The awards are provided under the project "Improving Child Protection and Prevention of Child Crime" under the Bulgarian-Swiss Cooperation Program.
The event was opened by the Deputy Minister of Interior Stefan Balabanov. Children, parents and teachers took part in the event, as well as the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Tanya Mihaylova, representatives of the Ministry of Interior, the Swiss Office of Cooperation at the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation in Bulgaria, leading CPH, the management of DG "National Police", Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Education and Science, Regional Education Management - Sofia, Bulgarian Red Cross and Sofia Municipality.
The Deputy Minister of Interior Stefan Balabanov underlined the Ministry's commitment to the Children's Police Headquarters initiative, which takes place within the framework of the Second National Program of the Ministry of the Interior aimed at early childhood prevention.The idea of the program is the children, acquire interesting and useful skills to help them make the correct decisions in difficult situations, while having fun having fun and playing games.
4,534 children acquired skills for first aid, personal protection, road safety, health, ethics, law, and how to survive in nature. All skills to the children have been provided by the 201 PSAs opened in the 2016.
