Bulgarian-Swiss Scientific Exchange Programme (Sciex-NMSch)

2-11-2015

In September 2011 the first call for young scientists under the Program for Scientific Exchange of thematic fund Scholarships for Bulgaria is launched. The program provides accommodation and work for up to 24 months of PhD students and 12 months of post-doctoral researchers at Swiss research organisation. Short-term exchange visits are allowed for Bulgarian and Swiss mentors of the projects.

The program budget for Bulgaria is 1.61 million CHF, to support Fellows projects for the period 2012-2015 with an annual amount of 50 000 CHF for the first year and 55 000 CHF for the second year of the project, and to provide short visits of the mentors during the project implementation period.

The evaluation of the applications for scholarships is organized by the Swiss Conference of Rectors (CRUS) and SD of the Ministry of Education and Science. The ranking is done by the SciexNMSch Steering Committee, headed by the President of the Conference of Swiss universities’ Rectors.

The following twenty-three fellowships are completed:
